Marketers paying for Canva Pro on top of Adobe Express, hopping between tools, lacking real brand consistency, hitting AI limits behind freemium walls.
One platform — describe the visual, system generates options. Brand kits applied automatically. Team works in one space with version history. Annual plans get 20% off. AI cost passed to the user via tiered limits, not absorbed.
Context
Content creators, marketers, and small businesses make dozens of visuals daily for socials, ads, and websites. Canva and Adobe Express cover the basics but still demand design skills for quality output, gate features behind freemium, and don't give full brand control. The Canva-alternative market is valued at 10+ billion dollars.
Approach
Next.js 15 + React 19 + TypeScript on App Router for top-tier performance. MongoDB Atlas for flexible design and metadata storage. AWS S3 + Cloudinary handles image and export storage. Multi-provider AI architecture — FAL AI, Google AI SDK, OpenRouter — so the platform isn't pinned to one model's quirks. Stripe runs recurring subs, Resend handles transactional email, Upstash Redis caches templates for instant load. Vercel with edge functions and CDN for global delivery.
